December 2005

  1. We're delighted to hear that Ringo can boast his first pregnancies in New Zealand via frozen semen. Congratulations to all concerned, especially the expectant mums to be!
  2. A VERY Merry Christmas to all our customers and friends!! We hope Santa has been good to you and brought lots of horsey related presents...
  3. Amour G (Ringo x May Sherif x Alexsander) has left us for his new home in Norfolk with Pippa. Here he is having a yawn with his like minded stable mate!:

  1. Stunning Anglo Arab brood mare offered for sale, in foal to Ringo due March 2006.
  2. Love Me Do Jx, a 2005 filly by Ringo out of Summer Love by I Need You is placed second of 11 filly foals at the North of the Border foal show at DABBS on the 26th November. Full details and foal scores can be found at http://www.scottishsportshorse.org/.
  3. Anika G, our very colourful 2005 homozygous tobiano filly by Ringo, has arrived safely at her new home with Cedar Grove Sport Horses in Virginia USA. Julie and Alena kindly sent us this snap shortly after her arrival:

November 2005

  3. Johanna has kindly sent us a new snap of Vivax, 2005 leopard colt foal born in Sweden by Faust. Fabulous!

October 2005
    1. Tosca and Dimelza are heading for sunnier climes in France (lucky them!). Congrats Estelle!
    2. We are shipping frozen semen to New Zealand for Goshka Ringo. For further details please contact our agent, Lucy Tucker.
    3. Kate and Faust are enjoying a great start to dressage competition together with two class wins at Kingswood EC on 73.3% and 72.3% in prelim and novice respectively.
    4. A couple of cracking 2005 foals offered for sale.

September 2005
    1. Ally has kindly sent us a new snap of Bam Bam G (Ringo x Dueka x Handsome Sailor). He's a yearling and currently stands 16 hands:
    1. Mirthe has been sold and will be following her daughter to the USA!
    2. Apologies if you have been trying to reach us over the past few days; ISDN lines dashed, broad band turned into a broad bean and even our Bluetooth developed a cavity...
    3. Faust is happy to chill out with Blake after his morning workout..."us 12 year olds must stick together" they said...
    1. Our stud statistics for the 2005 covering season have now been completed - a HUGE thank you to all our customers and here they are:

    • Results are combined natural, fresh and chilled services
    • Results are combined for Ringo, Faust and Festivo
    1. The UK's first grading of Knabstruppers is to take place on the 9th October at Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire (in conjunction with the Danish Warmblood grading). There is a full programme of activities which we will publish soon. In the mean time if you require further information please drop us a line.

    2. Our beautiful 2005 homozygous filly "Anika G" (Ringo x Everij x Burgraaf) is sold to the USA! Congratulations to Julie and Alena of Cedar Grove Sporthorses, we are thrilled that Anika G will be joining your exciting coloured breeding programme:

    1. We're delighted to announce that in partnership with the Crown Horse Stud of Denmark, Goshka Sport Horses are now able to supply the UK with frozen semen from the outstanding cremello warmblood stallion, Crown's Blue Pearl. Please call or email us for details.

We finally felt confident enough to share this one as our vet has told us "it's time to start thinking about putting Lavish back in foal...".     2. Lightning strike to our home telephone wires has put our phones and computer out of action since Saturday 21st May - apologies for the inconvenience to everyone trying to call.     4. Two new foals born by Ringo born on 18th May; a bay tobiano filly out of Moonstone Abigail and a bay tobiano colt out of Florin - both babies and mums doing well and awaiting piccies...
    5. Due to post foaling complications we're devastated to hear that "Mac the Knife" has passed away suddenly. Our most sincere condolences go to Julia and her very special girl "Gabby".

    10. Lavish has done it again. Absolutely HUGE black and white filly by Ringo born May 8th. Piccies to follow!!!
    11. Beautiful bay and white colt foal born on Friday 6th May by Ringo out of Dahookah, a pure bred Arab mare by Gai Warsaw. This foal was due on April 4th ... so this months award for oustanding patience goes to Chris, well done!

    12. After many sleepless nights Sacha and Andys' mare Foxy has produced a gorgeous bay tobiano colt. A bit of a wait but worth it in the end, congrats both:

    14. It's May 1st and Suzy (Lawrence (HOLST) x Township (XX)) has produced a black /bay and white colt by Ringo - at a very considerate 6pm this evening!!! Congrats to Enid, Sue, Martin, Faye (and of course Faye's brother who was on stand by as photographer). Here he is with his Mama just a few minutes old:

    15. Willow has produced a HUGE filly we're told on 24/04, bringing the tally for the weekend to 4. Congrats Tessa!
    16. Seemingly Ed has decided it's time to move on from his 2004 'sun hat' approach to dealing with the hot summer days to come....
    17. Goshka Sandrobi, our beautiful home bred 2002 bay gelding by Sandro Hit has just been backed and is offered for sale. For further details please see our younstock sales page.

    19. Oops, three last weekend. Jenni had a filly on Sunday morning too. We want piccies please!
    20. New Ringo babies arriving; two this weekend, congrats Dave and Ann/John respectively!! Here's the first picture we've received, a colt born 24.04.05 at 4am (Ringo x Ulft):

    21. Ringo and Tina attain a 68.5% and a 68.4% (3rd and 1st) respectively in their first BD outing for almost 12 months, so they are part qualified for the Elementary regionals. Supreme thanks to TEAM Goshka - you're the best!!!!!!!!!!

    29. It was a big day for Festivo on Saturday when his first baby was born in Holland. A bay tobiano filly out of Ustrona. Congrats Claudia!

    30. Gama has produced another gorgeous baby by Ringo, he's a whopper! Congrats to Jean and family!

    31. Goshka Festivo is approved and awarded supreme champion of the BSPA spring stallion gradings!
      Dee Dee G has produced another beautiful colt foal by Ringo. Congratulations to Sacha and Andy of the Volatis Stud:
